Oh the joys of apartment living! My neighbors from hell have kept us up the past few nights. Finally around 3:30 am when it got too much-my husband and I jumped out of bed and started banging on their walls! I think they got the hint. When we finally got a few hours sleep-we were woken up by the fire alarm going nuts in our building and the fire department here. Is this my year or what? I am not letting it upset me though because things are going well with everything else.

I have been very happy since my last post. Work has been better and everyone is getting along well… for the time being anyway. My youngest daughter got straight-A’s and made the Honor Roll on her very first report card ever! She also had her first performance at the annual tree lighting ceremony for our city. She was awesome and of course, my eyes were filled with tears of joy! This year she is in the signing chorus. She knew nothing about it until a few months ago and she looked like a pro up there!

Hubby has been doing online surveys-(yeah the ones he always thought were a scam) and he scored a $10 Target gift card for one of them on top of getting paid. Not bad. He is also getting some more articles up so he can make some money there. We are still fascinated how there are so many ways to make money online. Now, I am in no way making a lot of money but it is helping! We were we looking for part-time jobs outside the home for how long… and all this stuff has always been there all along! Incredible.

I must admit, last year Christmas I joined the blogging world as a way to keep an online journal of my debt journey. I never knew how to blog-still don’t know much. I never paid mind to a lot of this stuff but I tell you-there is a whole ‘nother world out there! What I am realizing reading more and more blogs and forums and pages and all this stuff…is that there can be money made and money to be made in the long term just from what I am doing now! I have learned all about “passive income” and it has me excited! I started a few niche blogs, started writing articles-these are things that will keep earning you money over time. Again, I have not made much-a few dollars and cents here and there on blogs and articles but I have seen since I have started-that little bit keeps coming in every month even though I am not doing anything. I am imagining all the possibilities! Hopefully next year the BK will be behind us and I will no longer be a “girlndebt”. We can start living with a lot less stress and start saving for the future!
