Thank goodness I got that warranty!

I hope everyone had an awesome Halloween! Not that we needed any more candy but we decided to take my youngest trick-or-treating and visit a Haunted House in our old neighborhood. It was great and there were so many kids over there. Where we live now, there were hardly any. Of course I had to look at my old house while we were there. They left it just as we left it. My little garden was out front and my cool little door knocker was still up. I felt a little sadness. I do miss having our own home. I do. What bothered me most was there were so many abandoned and foreclosed on houses just on my block alone!

We took our car to Honda on Friday and there is a major problem with the car. We have been complaining about a problem with the car since we bought it and luckily it is in their records that it happened BEFORE my car accident-NOT AFTER-so this will be covered under the warranty. The AC going out on it was just part of the problem. Bad news is, my car will be out of commission for a while and the CRV is officially 3 months late. So every morning we wake up not knowing if we are going to have a car to get to school and work. It sucks! A rental car is not an option for us right now. I wouldn’t want the responsibility of one either. All the tires are worn on the CRV and the brakes are going. We had to replace one of the tires this weekend because we were riding on the spare. That was $55. I do not want to spend any more money on a car that we are not keeping but we needed the tire to get around.

I start working Sundays this week. It is going to be different getting up so early on Sunday but I gotta do it. I can tell you, I do not like this daylight savings crap! I leave work in the dark and I drive home in the dark. All I want to do is come home and go to sleep! It is too hard to get use to this time change. It gets dark way too early now.
