The attorney emailed us our information regarding our court date. They call it the 341 meeting of creditors. It is March 24th. When I seen the date-I knew it looked familiar. March 24th was the date we bought our house that ended up being a short sale nightmare! So instead of closing on a house and signing ourselves into more debt-exactly 3 years later, we will be completing that chapter of our lives for good! I just wonder if any creditors are going to show up. It will be interesting.
We also got a notice that we will need to complete a Post Bankruptcy Filing Course. It can be done online and needs to be done by March 24th.
As far as the creditor calls-they pretty much stopped. I think we got one or two but we did not answer. I am pretty sure they will get notice soon and stop calling. It is definitely a relief to not be getting a million calls a day.
